Studding Outlet Flanges

Studding outlet flanges are self-reinforcing branch connections that weld directly onto a pipe header or vessel shell to provide a flanged outlet without requiring a separate nozzle assembly. The pad-type base contours to the header OD and is welded in place, while the raised flange face accepts standard companion flanges and gaskets. Studding outlets reduce fabrication complexity and eliminate multiple welds compared to conventional nozzle-plus-flange assemblies.
