Class 2500 Studding Outlets represent the highest pressure class available for studding outlet branch connections. These are highly specialized components manufactured in limited quantities for extreme-pressure applications in the petrochemical and chemical processing industries.
The forging and machining requirements for Class 2500 studding outlets are among the most stringent for any piping component. The base pad must be contoured to precisely match the header OD, and the flange face must achieve the surface finish required for ring-type joint gasket sealing at Class 2500 pressures.
Applications are limited to the most extreme pressure systems, including high-pressure polyethylene production, ultra-high-pressure research facilities, and specialized chemical synthesis equipment.
