Class 300 Studding Outlets serve medium-pressure piping and vessel applications where flanged branch connections are needed on pipe headers, manifolds, or equipment shells. The Class 300 rating covers the majority of process piping operating pressures in refining and chemical plants.
The forged construction of Class 300 studding outlets ensures consistent material properties from the base pad through the flange face. The bore is machined to match standard pipe schedules, and the internal profile provides a smooth flow path from the header bore into the branch outlet.
These studding outlets are commonly specified for process instrument connections, sample points, drain and vent connections, and small branch lines on process headers operating in the 300 to 700 psi range. The flanged outlet accepts standard Class 300 gaskets, bolting, and companion flanges.
